An Update

Just a short update to let everyone know that I'm doing well. Aside from some continued mild symptoms, I am walking and talking and, most importantly, breathing. We got our daughter off to college okay but she is very homesick so there are lots of phone calls, texting, and IMing going on. It's nice to be able to keep in touch these days...she even wrote us a couple of letters! She even came home for a visit...all this and she's only been gone four weeks! I think it's going to be a long year. I must say that I'm extremely proud of her for finding her way around San Francisco on public transit...she knows it so well that all her friends consult her first before going anywhere. She is also managing her classes well. She will be a member of the set crew in the upcoming production of "Proof."

So my nest isn't completely empty yet. That's okay by me.
